Of the 100 or so Predictions in the last 70 years about the results of population growth, global cooling and the new ice age, global warming and the loss of ice caps, global disruption, and every other BS model of the climate, every one of them has failed to materialise.
Nobody talks of “Club of Rome” any more because their proof that we would run out of 90% of resources by the year 2000 happened to be proven wrong. Remember “Peak Oil”? Remember how AIDS would wipe out 80% of the African population? Remember how the children would never see “Snow”, Remember the end of Polar Bears? Remember how Covid was deadly? How Vaccines were Safe and would stop you from getting Covid?
Yet the Morons continue to believe this nonsense and continue to live in fear.
The Earth is fine, (Take a two hour ride in a plane anywhere on the planet and see that it is still green, it is still beautiful) Yes you can screw up and despoil your neighbourhood, but travel a little and you will see that the planet doesn’t really care. Abandon a house for a few years and the greenery takes it back.
The North East of USA and the South East of England are an abomination, but in relation to the planet they are utterly insignificant and will soon disappear, just as did Atlantis, Troy, Angkor Watt et al.
When you go as a child to watch Frankenstein or the Texas Chain Saw Massacre, it raises your adrenaline and makes you feel scared for a while. This makes you susceptible to manipulation and part with your money. The nonsense above, Ozone hole, CO2, resource depletion is just more of the same. Check under your bed each night, perhaps Greta is hiding there.
