Best Eyelash Curlers: Top 5 Lash Lifters Most Recommended By Experts

The eyes are the window to the soul, the saying goes. So that must mean the eyelashes are the curtains to help decorate the windows. That’s all the more reason that some people go the extra mile to have standout lashes and get an extra dose of confidence. If you are not blessed with naturally captivating lashes, a good eyelash curler can help you out. Of course, there are countless options at the store to choose from, so which are the best eyelash curlers among the bunch?

Using the best eyelash curler can do more than just make those lashes fancier. A recent survey reports that seven in ten women agree that their eyelashes are important to their look, with two-thirds noting that naturally longer-looking eyelashes would make them confident enough to skip makeup entirely.  The survey also finds that about a third of women wish they could naturally enhance their eyelashes (29%).

While a growing number of women are confident without makeup, 106.05 million women in the U.S. still used mascara in 2020, a figure that is projected to increase to 108.59 million in 2024, according to data from the United Nations and Simmons National Consumer Survey (NHCS).

Curling your eyelashes first will maximize the effects of your mascara and other products. The best eyelash curlers will make your eyes “pop,” whether you use mascara or prefer a natural look. To find the cream of the crop, Study Finds visited 10 expert websites and came away with the five most recommended products across their reviews. 1. Shiseido Eyelash Curler

Cosmopolitan lists it as the best pinch-free curler and praises its longevity: “If you keep yours properly cleaned and in good shape, it can last forever.”

InStyle recommends Shiseido for long lashes. While “some tools aren’t big enough to grab every last lash, and the curl eventually wilts to its normal shape, […] with its broad head, this curler is equipped for the challenge.”

2. SURRATT BEAUTY Relevée Lash Curler

The second most expert-recommended curler was the Relevée Lash Curler by Surratt Beauty. The Cut votes this curler “best overall” because it “feels like a hug” and “delivers the best curl swoop, one that instantly opens the eye and makes you look more alert.”
