Hi Laura, I feel your pain and reading the article, I was eagerly waiting to read where one can find 37” inseam and up in denim. This is why I created the denim brand @standtalljeansofficial. We just launched with two signature styles, three sizes and two inseams- 37” and 38”. I hope you check us out at standtalljeans.com
This is quite an interesting read, however, as a tall woman with a 38” inseam, I can’t say that I’ve successfully found my size at any of these named retailers. In the fashion industry as a whole, there is a larger problem that has not been addressed for Tall women’s fashions. The average “tall” denim in the market stops at 35”, anything more is barley catered to. I like most women in the tall community have started brands to cater to the obvious gap that exists in fashion for tall women. The goal is that my brand, like other actual tall brands will become mainstream and easily accessible so there is not a struggle to find gorgeous tall jeans 👖.
I agree with the others. Really tall sizes are hard to find, and a seamstress becomes your best friend, for real. If talls don’t start at 34″, they really aren’t for us tall gals. Also, I have a waist and hips. I don’t fit into men’s sizes at all, so we need cuts for women with long legs. Thanks.
32”? 34”? That’s baby town frolics. I suffer from a 39” inseam! Help! Idk what to do other than buy a sewing machine..
