You must not live in Tennessee. It’s one of the worst States, you could live in. The police are terrible here, and they want you to move here, so they can take your money. This place, like it’s name, “Bible Belt”, is a sham. They police abuse Veterans, they don’t care about homeless people, abused women and children, ore the handicap. It’s a terrible state, that pushes hate, thru religion.

This is Oak Ridge. Nice to read some one likes it but still I live here for 20 years, yes it’s not bad but the history and environmental threat all around you would not make it a recomendatin. The 2 large employers yes if you want a fu… Government Job go for it

My company’s headquarters are located in Franklin and I used to live in Georgia, but out of respect for my late son who was trans and people like him – will never consider moving to a state which actively promotes hate against LGBTQ people.

This is definitely a fake article 🙄 someone clearly don’t know what a great place to live means. Nashville? Not with that crazy arse traffic, homeless harassment, have to pay for parking to go anywhere, roads are terrible, not to mention its cluttered. Then I really laughed hard at Oak Ridge and Chattanooga…yeup its a JOKE!! Franklin yes! Brentwood is for the rich. But ok.

Since all you see here is haters in the comments, I thought I would give my 2 cents…. I have lived in multiple states in the south. I prefer east TN over all of them. I like the ideas of southern summers but with actual chance of snow. No state taxes…wooo hooo, the gun rights….. wooohooo…., no emissions on vehicles…..wooohoooo. These were all pluses for me. Out door activities are better here than any other states I have been in. At least 5 lakes with an hour +/- from Knoxville. Large open rivers down to gorgeous streams and everything in between through out. Which has made me take up a new hobby of fly fishing, Holly cow there are thousands of places to go. There are more off road parks and places on public land to go off roading via vehicles, dirt bikes, 4 wheelers and side by sides then you can imagine. Hands down the best motorcycling experience in the southeast. I have been riding my Harleys for years here and still keep finding amazing places to ride and see. TN is seeing new comers from all over the US in record numbers for all of the reasons I have listed. That is why our housing market is still on fire here, the housing demand is much higher then available houses. We welcome you and yes some of these negative comments on here are here just like everywhere you go. But please remember the reason you are choosing to move here for all these benefits, please leave the blue state mentality where you came from so we allllllll don’t have to move again.

Don’t get me wrong, I live in Nashville and absolutely LOVE living in TN. Unfortunately Democrat run cities (like Nashville and Memphis) have been turned into sh*t holes like every other democrat run city in the country. Not to mention everyone is fleeing democrat run states like CA, NY, and IL and are trying to turn TN into a liberal hell hole (yeah totally nonsensical but that’s the lib mentality). I’m just saying there are so many better places to live in TN than what the “person” who wrote this article listed.

That’s complete horse manure. Tennessee is a great state, where family values come first.
