This why I am about to try Aquaponics!! Rather raise my own at this point, and their feces has ammonia in it and things that make them sick and pollute the water but a pump sucks it up to a plant bed that gets hooked up to it, it turns into nitrates and plant food, and then the plants send the water back to the fish unpolluted. So it cleans itself too!
