I’ve been a proponent of the Weston A. Price theory for about a decade. Not keto by any stretch, but liberally incorporating fats as a staple part of the diet. Problem is, after 10 years, gained 35 lbs and hypertensive. Theory is very difficult to follow closely because of the lack of high quality animal fats vs. factory farm fats. Other than that, now gone hardcore vegan to throw off the weight and lower bp. Short term should be ok. So much information available now that wasn’t just a decade ago. Be careful of sources and more important be careful experimenting.

Which has just been countered by a new study released this week showing just the opposite. Which is why seventh day adventists(no fats please) live longest, along with vegetarians and folks on a gluten diet(yup, eat whole wheat bread folks.).
