The hands of time wait for no one, but according to a new study conducted at Concordia University, those hands are moving faster for obese individuals.
Researchers have discovered that obese people outnumber smokers in the United Kingdom by a two-to-one ratio. On the bright side, this means that less and less people are smoking. However, obesity is causing higher rates of certain types of cancer than smoking.
New research out of the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine in Cleveland has found a link between the rising rate of obesity among U.S. adolescents and this spike in cancer cases among young adults.
