Odd, about a year ago news was that their population was up slightly.
What did they do during the medieval warm spell?

The earth, over many millions of years, has experienced warming and cooling. This is probably due to a nuclear reaction going on overhead. (To the uninformed – the sun plays a great role in the warming and cooling of the earth). Also, volcanic activity has a role in the cooling of the earth. In the Medieval times AD 950 to 1250 there was a warming period. Between about 1303 and 1858 global temperatures cooled and there was a little ice age. In fact, there are paintings of people ice skating on the Thames! The warming and cooling of the earth is natural and cyclical. Humans cannot control the sun and volcanoes at this time. The idea of humans controlling the earth warming is juvenile and silly. BTW, these articles never define “greenhouse gas.”
