Best Funny Halloween Costumes: Top 5 Hilarious Looks, According To Experts

Not everyone has to dress up as ghouls or goblins for Halloween. Those with a sense of humor like to put their creativity to the test and find a costume that will crack everyone up. There are many funny — and punny — options to choose from, but which ones are the best? That’s where StudyFinds comes in. We put together a list of the best funny Halloween costumes that will tickle your funny bone.

Halloween is one of the best parts of autumn, so it’s no surprise that fall is America’s favorite season. A recent poll of 2,000 Americans finds more than half can’t wait for the changing of the leaves. The OnePoll survey reveals that 51 percent say fall foliage is the season’s biggest draw. The weather overall finished just behind the turning of the leaves, with 45 percent saying they love the chill in the fall air. Thirty-five percent of respondents say the best part of fall is watching scary movies.

Another fun part of Halloween is kids dressing up and going trick-or-treating, but they better make sure to hide the candy from their parents. A study finds that parents steal a third of their children’s Halloween candy. According to a survey of 2,000 U.S. parents with children between the ages of 3-15, two-thirds says they have stolen candy that their kids collected while trick-or-treating. Among parents who admitted to stealing candy, the average respondent ate a full third of their child’s Halloween candy haul. The survey also reveals that 59 percent of parents have even hidden Halloween candy from their kids! Not cool, Mom and Dad.

“Who wouldn’t want to be Tony the Tiger holding an ax?” writes Reader’s Digest.

You can also make the Cereal Killer into a couple’s costume. “You can DIY this couple’s Halloween costume too but we’re loving this super cute Amazon pick for a low lift,” notes Country Living.
