I have the L’Oreal Elnett spray. While I don’t have the exact one from Living Proof I do have the control hairspray. Same with Kenra. I don’t have the one listed in the article but I do have the heat cast spray. Out of the 3 Kenra wins hands down. The other 2? L’Oreal has a very heavy scent to it and both L’Oreal and Living Proof’s hairspray leaves my hair hard to deal with. If I wanted to start over, as mentioned in the article, I’d have to re-wash my hair. But I can’t use reg shampoo. I have to use a clarifying one to get all of it out. Unless you spray ea curl you plan to create with a curling iron those 2 do not keep a curl but the Kenra spray does. I was lucky enough to find my 1st bottle at Marshall’s so I didn’t pay anywhere near full price but after trying so many hairsprays that claim to do what’s written in this article once I finished my can I splurged on a new one. I have it in my hair today and my curls are front and center as well as nicely defined even after a day out in almost 100° weather. Do yourself a favor. If you can find any of these at a TJ Maxx or Marshall’s buy from there. If you live in a country where you can return product and buy from Ulta, Sephora, etc, make sure to take the product back for a refund if it doesn’t do as described. These companies make far too many claims these days and sadly most of the time they don’t live up to said claims. Don’t let them get away with it anymore. If you hit them where it hurts maybe they’ll stop. If they don’t at least you got your money back. Let’s face it. Most of these products are NOT cheap…
