Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and many of us are hard-pressed for gift ideas this year. If you’ve been in a relationship for a while, you might even be running out of original ideas. Stores are already full of heart shaped boxes of chocolates, but how does anything you can find in a store really communicate how much you love your partner? If you’re a woman shopping for a man, you might find the typical gifts like flowers or stuffed animals are more suited for females. The best Valentine’s Day gifts for him should be items or services he’ll find useful.
If you’re trying to impress your special someone this year, stick to gifts that are thoughtful and unique! (Bigger doesn’t always mean better.) A study conducted by OnePoll of 2,000 Americans found that one in five Americans in a relationship (23%) have considered leaving their partner after receiving a cliché gift. Researchers also examined the gifts and gestures that actually do make respondents feel appreciated in a relationship. Nearly half the poll (47%) say it’s “extremely important” to them that their partner remembers their likes and dislikes. Giving a gift that shows how well you know them will be far more appreciated, no matter what the cost.
Although men are often the ones expected to be the gift-givers in February, data from Statista found about 44 percent of men in the United States in 2021 were expecting to receive electronics as a gift from their partners or other loved ones. Ranking second and third, a considerable share of American men believed they would receive gift cards or perfumes.

The List: Best Valentine’s Day Gifts for Him, According To Relationships Pros
1. Love Coupons
Gifts don’t always have to mean extravagant items. Sometimes it’s the literal thought that counts. These love coupons can be customized with privileges or acts of service that are specific to your partner. “If you’re working on a budget, these coupons will do the trick. If you can’t think of a physical gift to give that would be suited for your lover, gifting a subscription service is the gift that keeps on giving. There are many different services tailored to a variety of hobbies or interests, and most are relatively affordable with some as little as $10 a month. “The movie lover you love will be delighted to receive a subscription to The Criterion Channel, which streams hundreds of carefully curated classic and contemporary titles from around the globe,” writes NY Times.
