World’s first AI robot CEO also becomes an honorary professor

WARSAW, Poland — The world’s first AI robot CEO has become an honorary professor. Mika, who heads up Polish rum firm Dictador, received the award during the recent 2023-24 Collegium Humanum University inauguration in Warsaw.

“My presence on this stage is purely symbolic. In reality, conferring an honorary professor title upon me is a tribute to the greatness of the human mind in which the idea of artificial intelligence was born,” the female humanoid robot said in a speech, according to SWNS.

“It is also a recognition of the courage and open-mindedness of the owner of Dictador, who entrusted his company to a humble spokesperson with a processor instead of a heart.”

Mika was created by the renowned roboticist and scientist Dr. David Hanson of Hanson Robotics. The advanced AI was appointed as a company board member in September 2022.

“We are very proud to see her developing her own character, talk about AI and share her innovative ideas for the future. Mika is the bomb,” Dr. Hanson said back in March 2023.

“Dictator’s board decision is revolutionary and bold at the same time. This first human-like robot, with AI, in a company structure, will change the world as we know it, forever,” added Marek Szoldrowski, President of Dictador Europe.

“Leveraging advanced artificial intelligence capabilities, her role as an AI CEO at Dictador has revolutionized corporate leadership,” the firm concluded. “Equipped with state-of-the-art algorithms and machine learning, she exhibits unparalleled analytical abilities, enabling her to make strategic decisions and optimize the company’s operations with precision.”
