This is a subjective topic, but in terms of natural wonders, landscape, history, ecology there are many other places in the world like Peru, Russia, Iran, Turkey, Syria, France, Spain, Egypt, Oman, India, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Switzerland that have beatiful and world famous views.
I question the Unites States being #1 in the most beautiful country category. I consider this to be a very biased assessment obviously written by an American. I am Canadian and there so many other places other than Baniff that are beautiful. I have been to Italy and Greece. The scenery is beautiful, and there great variety in the types of things that you can see. Plus you have the added value of all of the history that you can see in Italy and Greece.
I am a naturalEd Canadian and agree that while Banff, Jasper and others on the Rockies are mind blowingly beautiful, there are many other locations in Canada that are jaw dropping. And most have not travelled to the tallest mountains in the world and so miss out on the breath taking beauty of the Himalayas.
A talented landscape photographer can make also other countries “most beautiful”.

I’ve been to over 30 countries and while I wouldn’t rank them the same as the author, I can understand where they’re are coming from. The US offers everything deserts, tropical beaches, tundras, grasslands, multiple mountain ranges, beautiful scenery, and lots more. No other country has that kind of geological diversity. While I hate taking countries on beauty, I think a strong case can be made for the US being number one
