Gear Lab names the Ryobi best for power, writing, “The Ryobi 40V HP Brushless Whisper Series 730 CFM is like a contained hurricane; it packs an impressive amount of power that is able to push debris fast and far, greatly simplifying your yard clean-up tasks. It also does a fantastic job with ergonomics. The Ryobi has near-perfect balance even when running on turbo mode, which is not something most models we tested can claim.”

CNET rates this one as its top pick, enthusing, “This 80-volt Greenworks model proved to be not only our best overall leaf blower, but also our most powerful leaf blower. During our propulsion tests, where we use each leaf blower to power a custom-built air cannon and see how far they’ll shoot a weight, Greenworks was the clear winner in the ‘turbo mode’ category, with an average distance of 34 feet and 11 inches. Even in standard mode, its average distance of 26 feet and 8 inches would have placed third overall in the turbo category. No other leaf blower we tested moved air with more power.”
Popular Mechanics explains how this Greenworks model applies precision to make cleanup a breeze. “The tube tip is tapered at the end, creating a little narrower, focused air stream, which was evident in the pattern left in our sawdust test. We also noted more precision when blowing leaves out of our test area, which we cleared in seconds, taking just a couple of steps.”

The title of your article is false and misleading. This was clearly not written by Experts.
None of these come close to qualifying as “best” leaf blowers.
Hand held blowers are inferior to backpack blowers.
They are inefficient compared to 2-cycle gasoline engines. They don’t have nearly enough power to move a yard full of wet leaves.
They are barely adequate to clean grass clippings off of your walkways unless bone dry.
I have 25+ years experience as a professional landscaper. By far the best leaf blower currently available to purchase in the United States is made by RedMax. EB series. Preferably model 8500 or newer.
The emissions are up to even CA standards.
The noise, even if slightly louder, is far less ear piercing than is the noice produced by battery/electric powered models. Ear protection should be used with either.
Even a Ryobi 2-cycle backpack blower avaliable at any home improvement warehouse store will do a far superior job than any of these that you’ve listed.
These are all perfectly decent products, in no way shape or form do they belong on a list titled “best leaf blowers”.
You completely overlooked Husqvarna leaf blower, it’s better than any, you reviewed.
